PRODUCT & HAIR QUALITY

Our extensions are ethically sourced from Russia and Scandinavia, using premium-quality Remy human hair selected for its softness, natural appearance and long-lasting performance.

Remy hair is premium human hair where the cuticles remain intact and aligned in the same direction. This helps minimise tangling and creates a soft, smooth and natural-looking blend with your own hair.

All Hailie Hair extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair.

Double drawn hair has been carefully selected so that the majority of the hairs are the same length. This creates beautiful fullness and thickness from roots to ends, rather than thinner, wispy ends.

Ethically sourced hair means the hair is responsibly collected from voluntary donors who are fairly compensated for their hair.

We carefully consider the quality, sourcing and processing of our hair to ensure it meets our standards for beautiful, premium extensions.

The Genius Weft is our signature ultra-thin weft technology, designed to create a lightweight, discreet and seamless finish.

Its slim profile sits comfortably against the head and can be customised to suit different hair densities, lengths and desired results.

Genius Wefts feature a 1mm ultra-thin design with no return hair, allowing them to sit flatter and more discreetly against the head.

They can also be cut to customise the width and placement without the weft unraveling, giving your stylist greater flexibility when creating a personalised application.

Both methods are designed to provide lightweight, natural-looking extensions, but they differ in their construction and flexibility.

Genius Wefts are ultra-thin, flat and can be cut anywhere along the weft without unraveling. They have no return hair, allowing them to sit flatter against the head and providing greater flexibility for customised applications.

Hand-Tied Wefts are individually hand-sewn and lightweight, but cannot be cut without the risk of unravelling.

Genius Wefts offer greater versatility for customisation while maintaining a discreet, seamless finish.

COLOUR & STYLING

For the best match, extensions should generally be matched to the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair rather than the roots.

Yes, our extensions are made from premium human hair and can be professionally coloured or toned.

We recommend having any colouring performed by a qualified extension specialist and always completing a strand test first.

Lightening or bleaching is not recommended, as it can affect the condition and longevity of the hair.

Yes, you can use purple or silver shampoo on your hair extensions to help neutralise unwanted yellow or brassy tones. However, it should be used sparingly and with caution.

Only apply it when needed (not every wash), and always follow with a hydrating conditioner or treatment mask, as toning shampoos can be drying if overused. Leave-on time should also be kept short and carefully monitored to avoid unwanted colour build-up.

We recommend using salon-quality, sulphate-free products to help maintain the softness, shine, and longevity of your extensions.

Yes, you can use hot tools such as straighteners, curling wands, and blow dryers on your hair extensions, as they are made from high-quality human hair.

However, it’s important to always use a heat protectant spray before styling to help prevent dryness and damage. Keep heat settings on low to medium rather than high, as excessive heat can shorten the lifespan of the hair and affect its softness and shine.

To maintain the best results, avoid applying direct heat too often and allow the hair to cool fully after styling before brushing or reworking.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Use a gentle, sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner. Wash in a downward motion from roots to ends without scrubbing or twisting the hair. Focus shampoo on the scalp area and let the suds run through the lengths. Always finish with a hydrating conditioner or mask and rinse thoroughly. Allow extensions to air dry or blow dry on a low heat setting.

Yes, toning shampoos can be used to help neutralise unwanted yellow or brassy tones.

However, they should be used sparingly and only when needed, as overuse can dry the hair or cause unwanted colour build-up.

Always follow with a hydrating conditioner or treatment mask.

Avoid applying conditioner, oils or dry shampoo directly to the PU spine.

Before swimming, rinse your hair with fresh water and secure it in a loose braid or low ponytail.

After swimming, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and follow with a suitable conditioner or lightweight oil on the lengths.

No. Always ensure your extensions are completely dry before going to bed.

Sleeping with wet hair can increase the risk of matting, tangling and stress on both your natural hair and extensions.

We recommend gently brushing your hair before bed and loosely braiding it or securing it in a low ponytail.

A silk or satin pillowcase can also help reduce friction.

Like all natural human hair, extensions may experience minimal shedding or tangling over time.

Installation & Wear

Yes. Genius Wefts are lightweight, flat and discreet, making them a suitable option for many fine or low-density hair types when professionally applied.

Your stylist will determine the most suitable amount and placement based on the strength, density and condition of your natural hair.

When correctly selected, professionally installed and properly maintained, hair extensions should not cause damage to healthy natural hair.

Damage can occur if extensions are too heavy, incorrectly applied, left in for too long or not cared for correctly.

Our priority is always the health and integrity of your natural hair.

The amount of hair required depends on your natural hair density, length and desired result.

As a general guide:

Fine hair: 1–2 packs
Medium hair: 2–3 packs
Thick hair or fuller look: 3–4+ packs

We recommend professional maintenance approximately every 6–10 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth, extension placement and individual needs.
